Fujifilm X70 Video Test This is the Fujifilm X70 video test. This camera is pretty much a baby version of the X100T. The reason why purchased this camera because I wanna have a APS-C sized pocket camera. It's great for family shoot and holiday travel. But I bought this camera mainly for stills. To be honest, Fujifilm never actually focused on video. Even though they are now supporting 24p, 25p and full manual controls. But I still wouldn't use their cameras for serious shooting. But I was kinda curious did Fujifilm improve the video quality from the last camera that I bought (The X-T1). After I shot the video in Sydney Darling Habour. I went back to my hotel and check the footage. I found there are two major problems about this X70. Firstly, video quality. The camera takes awesome stills, but for some reason the video doesn’t look the same. It is very grainy and very contrasty. The iPhone 6S 4K downscale looked way better than the X70. Secondly, low light performance. Since the camera has the APS-C sized sensor. I was expecting to get decent lowlight footage. But I was wrong, the footage looks really bad. Even ISO 1600 still not acceptable. So I didn’t actually put that in this video. I would say this camera did not improve a lot from the XT1. Maybe because they were sharing the same sensor. But I guess for home video, the camera did a quite decent job. By the way, when I first bought the camera few weeks ago. I couldn’t find the ND filter adapter anywhere in Australia. But I had to get the Shutter Speed at 1/50. So I waited until sunset to make this video, my adapter is now on the way, haha! Thanks for watching :) Here is the Pros and Cons list that I think about this camera (Personal Opinion) Pros60fps at 1080pFull Manual controlsMic inputConsNo Image Stabilization Very contrasty video No Flat Picture ProfileCan't change ISO unless you go into the Menu Can't go lower than 400ISO in video modePool lowlight performance (Unusable footage after 1250ISO)Less than 15mins of recording timeCan't see the 16:9 screen until you hit recordPlease subscribe for more videos ^.^Filmed and edited by Steve Chanwww.dsipictures.comComing up next: Voigtlander 15mm f/4.5 Lens video testComing up next: Zeiss Loxia 50mm f/2.0 Lens video test
