Download the Original clip straight from the camera (No Editing)https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9FN2...This is a video test of the Brand new Pentax MX-1 Classic style Compact Camera. First of all, this camera isn't design for video shooting. But I was really surprised with the video quality. The camera shoots 1080p with 30 frames per second MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video. It has 28-112mm focal length with wide aperture f/1.8 to f/2.5. It gives really nice depth of field in photos. But as I said this camera isn't for video shooting. So there is no manual control in video mode. Only Auto!! That means if I wanna set the f/1.8 super large aperture and shoot some nice depth of field objects in day time. I can't!! Its in full auto, the camera will make it f/8 to get everything in focus. Which isn't very good. Because the selling point of this camera is large aperture. But there is one good thing for video, I can adjust the exposure compensation on the top of the dial /-2 EV (1/3 step). So I can still do something if its too dark or too bright. Over all, I'm quite happy with the camera. And the video quality isn't too bad. Feels like DSLR. I wouldn't use this camera for main video shooting. But it might be a good back up camera for travel ^.^Thanks for WatchingDSI Pictures Entertainment 2013www.dsipictures.comFilmed and Edited by Steve ChanMusic By Berni Law (www.bernworks.com)Product Video shot it on 5D Mark III, EOS MComing Soon: Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM
