How tough is Tough? The Olympus TG-2 iHS can handle anything you physically throw at it. It is waterproof down to 50 feet and fully functional to that depth. In the rain, and a water-repellent lens coating keeps your shot droplet free. It is shockproof so it will survive drops and fumbles from a height of seven feet. If you drop something on it that weighs less than 220 pounds, no problem, it is crushproof and that includes the screen. It is freezeproof and will continue to operate in cold, winter weather conditions below freezing to 14 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also dustproof, but by now you get the idea that this camera is not afraid to get dirty.
