Short review Ricoh Theta S vs. Ricoh Theta VI just received the new Theta Ricoh V and compared it with mine 1 year old Ricoh Theta S.Package, size and form of both devices are exactly the same, just the color and the bottom where you now find an external mic plug-in in state of the old micro HDMI out. Extra 360° Mic is available, but unfortunately I didn`t have it right now. Once I have - review will follow. Functions are more or less also the same to Theta S, you can use it with the App and control over WIFI (new with Theta V which also has Bluetooth on board and you can control the cam over Bluetooth and still can use your normal WIFI connection- very useful when you taking more shoots at one location) The output quality is visible better, photos are more bright- and colorful. Sharpness are also little bit increased. Videos are awesome in 4K and I cannot wait to doing some shoots while driving or walking to see the stabilizing effect. But at all no compare to Theta S. Also a Underwater case is available, once I tested this you also will get an update.
