This video is a tutorial on how to use the Canon Powershot G1X Mark II NFC and WiFi capability. The near field communication (NFC) is used to open the Canon WiFi app named, Canon Camera Window. The Canon Camera Window is used for transferring and viewing images. It is also used controlling zoom, flash, self timer, and adding GPS information to the Canon G1X Mark II.NFC Capability is limited to opening the Canon CameraWindow app. NFC doesn't support direct file transfer on the Powershot G1X Mark II nor the Powershot SX700. In future firmware updates we might see more capability.
