I spent a week shooting street in Havana with the new Fuji X100F and I can tell you this camera gets a lot right! 24 MP XTrans 3 sensor, improved EVF/OVF, revised ergonomics and interface, Higher capacity NP126 battery... The list goes on. But in spite of all the improvements, the X100F still feels like an old friend. An old friend with INCREDIBLE IMAGE QUALITY!I put the camera to the test over 8 days of shooting in Havana. They haven't completed their X100F version yet but this one still works (but partially covers the AF and AE lock buttons). Still worked great though!The soft release is by Match Technical. Fuji now uses "short" threads on their shutter buttons like the Leica M240. If you're shopping for a a release look for a short version or it will keep falling out all over the place!This video was shot entirely in 4K with the Fuji XT20 camera.
