At the request of a viewer, I prepared this tutorial on the Nikon Coolpix P610. The camera has enough features to make a thorough tutorial a very long process, so this tutorial is relatively brief. "Brief" doesn't mean short. I cover most of the controls and provide an overview of their function and do similarly with the menus. Neither is a complete immersion in the details. With the menus, I start from full reset and set menu selections as I would normally use them. I don't spend time on photographic technique with the camera but try to provide a sampling of the power of the camera for the amateur user. Maybe a later tutorial focusing on more detailed technique to produce photos under more difficult conditions will be in order. The camera has amazing capability and hopefully this will cause you to study further and experiment with more features than I can cover here.
