A video in response for a comparison of the FZ150 stills and video compared to a DSLR performance. I also have included the Panasonic GH2 which has had the 42Mb hack applied. Basic footage and stills from the cameras with video shot at the 1080p mode in each case.I think it is fairly evident from this very basic test that the overall image quality of all the cameras is acceptable but the EOS 60D has a much more visible dynamic range as you can clearly see the tonation in the white fur of the toys and some detail in the dark areas of the tree. The GH2 almost reaches the same degree of dynamic range leaving the fZ150 at the back of the pack. This is what really should be expected as the size of sensor largely denotes the image quality of the video. Once dry weather ensues I will repeat the tests in brighter lighting conditions.
