I've been working with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 bridge camera to see the video quality. All scenes were shot in 1280x720. The slowest speed in HD that the Lumix can shoot is 1/8th second, while the highest is at 120fps. I shot some footage of a stream at Patapsco State Park and captured the water using only these two settings.The clips are captured in MP4 format, not in AVCHD. While sound is heard throughout, the slow motion clips cannot record sound. You also can't zoom or change the exposure, which locks once you begin recording.
