I was excited to take delivery of the new 12Mpixel MOS based sensor camera, the FZ150. Designed to replace the FZ100 the camera, from its technical specifications, promised to be the ideal camera for my stills/video needs. The FZ100 was a very capable camera but needed to shoot in RAW mode to get the best images for stills. The 14Mpixel sensor was just a step too far as the amplification needed from the small photosites meant very noises images, even at low ISO. This new sensor was designed to overcome some of the noise issues which let the FZ100 down. Also added to the FZ150 was a nano surface coating to the lens to improve contrast by reducing flair. The camera also now has a true progressive output rather than an interlaced output from the progressive sensor. This video showcases the video and still from the camera, not perfect very still very impressive IMHO.Filmed in 1080p but rendered here at 720p for slow internet users
