What your seeing now are images I have taken on the GH5 with either the Canon 24-70mm or Tokina 11-16mm lenses and to be honest I can’t complain. I thought for months that I wouldn’t even bother shooting photos on my GH5 because I heard it was so bad, but I have changed my opinion after trying it… If your using relatively good glass on your GH5 I think the photography capabilities are enough for 80% of the time. If you plan on blowing these up to billboard size then yes, get a Canon 1D-X but in the world of mobile consumption your photos will be looked at on an iPhone 95% of the time so I am happy with the GH5 for photography. I edit my GH5 photos using the GH5 photography preset package in the description below… I think in the right hands the GH5 can produce pretty amazing still images. What do you think?
