When I purchased my first DSLR i.e D3400 I didn't knew that it doesn't have intervalometer built in. So i tried to find a solution, most conventional was to buy intervalometer remote. but that will cost around 2k. At the same time i bought my new mobile i.e Redmi 4 which has a IR function. Using smartphone IR with application from playstore would allow me to capture timelapse. I was very excited as well there is another way to capture timelapse using an app called DSLR remote but this application wasn't supported well for Nikon D3400. So Using the IR remote was best bait. Only Problem was, how to keep smartphone pointed at Camera for longer duration. I did found an old tripod lying around my house ,then I used it to hold the smartphone. This method can be used for all cameras that doesn't have built in intervalometer.Buy Nikon D3400 from Amazon http://amzn.to/2FJNkYhNikon D3400 Unboxing and overview - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sc8xo...
