This is especially problematic when shooting videos.My recommendation, before buying a camera make sure the autofocus works well and is silent.The Canon works well for me here, however, I made a second review for the Nikon as well, and here the focus is not only noisy to a point where you can’t even use the internal mic but it also constantly hunts for focus.For me, the Canon is the clear winner because of it's compact size, better menu, and a superior and silent autofocus.
