Read the description below for details…I love Fujifilm’s cameras. They’re great to shoot with, with accessible controls for both manual and automatic settings. They produce great colours. The auto white balance is always spot on.This is shot on the Fujifilm X-E3, as an allround sort of real-world vlogging test of auto focus, stabilisation and colours. This was shot with the PRO Neg. Std film simulation, with -2 in shadows and -2 in highlights (meaning 2 steps reduced shadows and highlights in Fujifilm’s terminology). The auto focus setting was set to 1 for multi-purpose. Auto white balance. The lens being used is the 18-55mm f2,8-4 R LM OIS. The focus of this lens is smooth and silent, and quite suitable for video I’d say. It might feel a tad slow for photos. The internal mic is not really that cool. Although not terrible when kept still, it's definitely struggling with the wind from just moving the camera around. It was not particularly windy this day. Also as a result of me shooting this hand held, it’s a good example of showing the rolling shutter (slanting footage on fast moving footage such as fast pans, or shaky footage, due to the linear sensor readout). It’s not the worst, but it’s definitely clearly visible when shooting handheld in 4k. It’s less pronounced when shooting in HD.Fingers crossed for the Eterna film simulation migrating from the new X-H1. It’d be lovely to shoot in that, with increased dynamic range in video, and overall cinematic colours straight out of the camera.CheersCUCKOO
