Like its predecessor, the G3, this ILC has a 16-megapixel sensor, an articulating touchscreen display and a built-in viewfinder. However, there are significant enhancements that will interest both photographers and videographers.For starters, though the sensor size remains the same and sports the same number of megapixels, it is apparently improved to give better low-light performance. The accompanying Venus Engine image processor is also part of the equation as it has been redesigned to help reduce noise as well as to provide other image quality enhancements.
