[see below for English description]Eine Woche lang haben wir in Barcelona mit der Nikon D3S gefilmt. Unsere Vorbereitungen beschränkten sich auf das Nötigste. All das, was üblicherweise für eine professionelle Video- oder TV-Produktion nötig ist, erledigten wir selbst und vor Ort: vom Locationscouting übers Drehbuchschreiben bis hin zu Set-Aufbau und Anweisungen an die Darsteller. Auch den Schnitt erledigten wir, im Anschluss an die Reise, selbst. (Hinweis: Es wurde ausschließlich mit den originalen D3S-Video-Daten gearbeitet. Es fanden keine weiteren Korrekturen wie Rauschreduzierung oder ähnliches statt.)Wir testeten die Leistungsfähigkeit der D3S beim Filmen unter fast allen denkbaren Bedingungen (außer im Schnee und unter Wasser), versetzten uns in nahezu jede erdenkliche Lage -- mit dem Ziel, die auf diese Weise gesammelte Erfahrung und Kompetenz an Profifotografen und -filmer weitergeben zu können. Darüber hinaus ging es uns darum, zu ermitteln, von welcher Qualität die Ergebnisse sind, wenn man den organisatorischen und technischen Aufwand, die Kosten sowie den Zeitraum, in dem ein Film produziert werden muss, bewusst minimiert. Und um uns besonders herauszufordern, drehten wir in den sieben Tagen nicht einen, sondern gleich zwei Filme. We haven't done any preparations beforehand just the very basic things like tripods and suction cups we organized in Germany. Everything what needs to be done for a professional movie-production we did on our own: Location scouting, script drawing and of course all the technical stuff like building up the film-sets and giving the stage directions for the actors. Also the editing has been done by ourselves subsequent to our Barcelona trip. (Please note: we exclusively worked with the original D3S footage like it came out of the camera. There haven't been any noise-reduction or other corrections while editing!)We have been testing the movie-performance of the Nikon D3s under almost all imaginable conditions (we skipped snow and water), put ourselves in any thinkable place -- with the goal to pass on all the knowledge and experience we made during that trip to our professional photographers and filmmakers. In addition we wanted to find out how the quality of a movie could be when we minimize the organizational and technical effort as well as the cost and the period of time we spent in total.
