Join me as I use the Fujifilm GFX 50S Medium Format camera for the first time, in fact, this is my first time shooting anything medium format since digital was released. I did have a Hassalblad years ago, it took film and lost my interest when DSLR's become available.On this particular morning, I headed to my favourite seascape location in Sydney, Turimetta beach to test out the Fujifilm. I had wanted to shoot with this camera ever since it was released, and finally thanks to Fujifilm Australia was able to get my hands on one.Straight up, I can tell the image quality is better than my Nikon D850, even though they share similar megapixels, the sensor size is different. The Fuji GFX 50S has amazing dynamic range and the colours from the Fuji just seem to pop more. I will do a side by side comparison before I give it back as I want to see the exact difference between the GFX 50S vs D850, but I am even more keen to get my hands on the Fujifilm GFX 50R since having a go with this one.
