In this field test, we take Nikon's D810 and D810A to Death Valley to photograph landscapes and night skies with Emmy-nominated astronomer, photographer and educator, José Francisco Salgado. The D810A is a tweaked version of the full-frame D810, and comes with a higher base ISO sensitivity and is specifically designed to capture wavelengths emitted by distant nebulae.
