If you're interested in getting the Fujifilm X-T2 - http://geni.us/7TsHIf you're interested in getting the Nikon D850 - http://geni.us/9LtxiAs you've seen on my Augusta videos I only took the Fujifilm X-T2 to shoot landscapes on the trip. In those videos, I received a few questions in the comments asking about my opinion of the X-T2, and whether I was transitioning across to Fujifilm. So in this video, I’m going to share some of my experiences and tell you what I’m going to shoot with going forward. I’m sure you’ve heard before that a camera is just a tool. I agree with this, and just like a carpenter has multiple hammers or an artist who paints has more than one brush. or a guitar player may have serval guitars, I own a couple of different cameras and chose the right one depending on the situation. I've taken the X-T2 on a few landscapes trips (you can check out some of those trips here). So I’ve used this camera for stills photography and video in different conditions. There's lots I love about shooting with the X-T2. Size and Weight - Not only is the camera smaller and lighter, but the lenses are as well. This 10-24mm (404g) is equivalent to this 17-35mm (745g) - over 80% heavier. The Dials - I also love the dials on the X-T2, not only are the dials practical but they fit with the retro style Fujifilm are creating across the X-series range. The Tilt Screen - I’m a big fan of the tilt screens. Having a tilt screen provides more flexibility, which is a good thing. Video - There are plenty of video features in the X-T2 and Fujifilm has continued to expand on these features through the firmware upgrades they provide. IBIS One thing X-T2 doesn’t have is In Body Image Stabilisation or IBIS. Without it, I rely on the Optical Image Stabilisation, OIS on the lenses I use including the 18-55mm kit lens which I love for video. For street and travel photography the X-T2 is a great camera and the video features mean it a camera that comes with me on many trips. However the full frame sensor of the D800, it does have a better dynamic range, it’s better in low light giving me more detail in the shadows and produces less noise. The t-shirt I was wearing is now available for purchase at http://geni.us/Aq5yJjtSeascape Photography video from Burns Beach - https://youtu.be/wHboGlmZb04Photography Gear - http://geni.us/lcoUGnCurrent Landscape Photography Gear - http://geni.us/9qYvCurrent Vlogging Kit - http://geni.us/IGrpPYLANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY GEAR USED IN THIS VIDEOMy NEW main camera - http://geni.us/9LtxiMy old main camera - http://geni.us/7TsHNew Tripod - http://geni.us/MAHuNew Ball Head - http://geni.us/fqW6fBJSpare Battery - http://geni.us/bfT4qMemory Cards - http://geni.us/v3EdLweMost Used Lens - http://geni.us/12DQzMy filter mount - http://geni.us/WDkDFilter adaptor ring - http://geni.us/e1mmMnYSlim Landscape Polariser - http://geni.us/DznOkND Soft Grad Filters - http://geni.us/sUIBYoND Hard Grad Filters - http://geni.us/Jd2YUleLittle Stopper - http://geni.us/ooEeCABig Stopper - http://geni.us/fxweOl8GEAR TO HELP WITH TRAVELRed Whips - http://geni.us/PqdQThink Tank Bags Tablet - http://geni.us/kkPDKA1Think Tank Bags Pro - http://geni.us/yNC7Generic Cable Bags - http://geni.us/b9eDPlugBug - http://geni.us/tnaIhgPower Brick - http://geni.us/rTmQe3Durable Charging Cord - http://geni.us/ZctbAIExternal Drive - http://geni.us/jm5eZGtSSD External Drive - http://geni.us/27S9hfAGnarbox - http://geni.us/fBTWBest bag for carry on luggage - http://geni.us/yWAd8zFUSB Charger for D800 battery - http://geni.us/ZbFNM82USB Charger for G7Xii battery - http://geni.us/HvyPixVLOGGING GEARPrimary Vlogging Camera - http://geni.us/b6L6BZNTripod - http://geni.us/XwBQwSecond Vlogging Camera - http://geni.us/S3iwK3yThird Vlogging Camera - http://geni.us/tp8P25YAudio Mic - http://geni.us/yJhKRecording Sound - http://geni.us/ne67eMAdapter Cord - http://geni.us/GVUBBCONNECT WITH MEInstagram (for other images) | http://geni.us/etzBTvFacebook (ask me questions) | http://geni.us/J97nDZTwitter (for my latest adventures) | http://geni.us/jbBWKit (My Favourite Gear) | http://geni.us/lcoUGnWANT TO SEE MORE OF MY ADVENTURES?Landscape Photography Adventures in Iceland - http://geni.us/wZBFcDLandscape Photography in the UK - http://geni.us/SHTMSeascape Photography Images - http://geni.us/9fEdAPPost-Processing Landscape Photography Images - http://geni.us/z0nWFn********** PLEASE SUBSCRIBE ***********If you’d like to be notified when I upload my next landscape photography adventure, please subscribe to my channel | https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSvi...******************************************Thank you for your support! :)MUSIC (from Epidemic Sounds), songs used:Heliolingus - Ooyy
