A test of the Panasonic LUMIX G9 with new firmware update 1.2. This video is shot entirely hand held with Dual I.S. 2. No gimbals, no tripods. The video covers low light video and photo test in various locations and conditions over the past week. After the preliminary tests of high ISO, image clarity, focus accuracy etc... I set out to test the G9 and vaious Panasonic lenses in the conditions I like to shoot in (mostly low light), as well as use the new video and photo features that caught my interest. Thus, I test the 3 focus modes (ASF/AFF, AFC, and Manual) for video and photo as well as a lot of High Speed 4K mode (slow motion). Also tested the amazing Dual IS 2 sensor shift Image Stabilizer. Video clips were shot in Cinelike D and Cinelike V. Dual I.S. 2 was used for everything except time lapse. The 3 time lapse tests were shot with G9 resting on flat concrete railings or walls (no tripods). All video clips are straight out the camera, no editing. All photos edited in LR. This test gives me a starting point to make adjustments in the camera for better light, color, exposure, and contrast.
