This week cameraface and I took a trip down to the alternative town of Brighton. After loading up on a large amount of coffee, and one of us having a bad start to the day, we whipped out the Ricoh GRII. The video this week being; Is the Ricoh GRII still relevant in 2018? Okay, the video is a pretty much just a photowalk. However, the Ricoh GRII is one of my favourite street shooters, boasting a great sensor, sharp 28mm full frame equivalent lenses, and an F2.8 aperture. Those of you that watch our videos regularly know that sometimes we have to switch to the GRII for video, which is by far from its best feature. However, this does allow us to duck in and out of quick street situations.In answer to the main question? Is it still relevant in 2018? Yes. Although there are rumours of a GRIII on the horizon, this badass mother licker that is the Ricoh GRII can still hold up with top-level street shooters.
